The AWARE (Action on Water Adaptation or Resilience: AWARe) initiative is an initiative to address water-related challenges and solutions in climate change adaptation.
It supports reducing water loss, improving its supply and implementing water adaptation actions around the world.
It will promote collaboration and interconnections between water and climate action, in particular to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6.
This initiative has been launched by Egypt in collaboration with the World Meteorological Organization during COP-27.
