  • 'Central Revenue Control Laboratory' (CRCL), New Delhi has been recognized as 'Regional Customs Laboratory' (RCL) for the Asia-Pacific region by 'World Customs Organization' (WCO). CRCL Was established in the year 1939. It is administered by the 'Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs'.
  • It is the headquarters of 14 revenue laboratories including 2 opium and alkaloids laboratories functioning in Ghazipur and Neemuch. CRCL, after being recognized as a 'Regional Customs Laboratory', has joined the Group of Customs Laboratories located in Japan and Korea countries.
  • 'World Customs Organization' was established in the year 1952 as 'Customs Cooperation Council'. It is an independent inter-governmental body, which aims to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of customs administration. It is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.
