Cyborg Cockroach

  • A cyborg is a remote-controlled living cockroach equipped with a solar cell and electronic hardware.
  • The solar cells on its body display the signal sent by its controller which helps the cockroach to move in the desired direction.
  • This set-up will be helpful in locating dangerous ruins and finding people trapped under the rubble in times of disaster.
  • The Madagascar hissing cockroach has been chosen for its large size, wingless and ability to straighten itself after falling on its back.
  • It is known that after removing the equipment attached to the cockroach, it behaves like a normal cockroach.
