DAKSH is a web-based end-to-end workflow application launched by Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Through it RBI will be able to improve the compliance culture in institutions like banks, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) and monitor their functioning smoothly.
It will also enable seamless communication, inspection planning and implementation, cyber incident reporting and analysis, various Management Information System (MIS) reports, etc. through a single platform, which facilitates secure access anytime, anywhere.
DAKSH means ‘efficient’ & ‘competent’, reflecting the underlying capabilities of the application and this initiative will help make India's banking system network more transparent.
