Ministry of Women and Child Development in collaboration with National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHNS), Bengaluru with the aim of improving the mental health of women Manoraksha Project*' has been launched.
The project will focus on capacity building of One-Stop Centre officials so that women facing violence and distress can be looked after with proper counselling at One-Stop Centres.
Employees working in these one stop centres will be provided security cover under insurance scheme.
Under this, the Ministry of Women and Child Development is planning to start "Nari Adalat" to provide speedy justice to women facing violence and distress.
