Angola recently became the 123rd member of the International Solar Alliance.

Announced: Jointly by India and France at the Paris Climate Conference (COP21) on 30 November 2015.
Entered into force: 6 December 2017
Headquarters: Gurugram, Haryana, India
Important day: The Framework Agreement of ISA came into force from 6 December 2017 after being ratified by 15 countries.

Number of member countries: 123 (Angola)
Only countries that are fully or partially located between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn can become members (although other countries can also join from 2018).
